Clothes for firemen
Protective clothes for firemen are produced in various versions, in accordance with a set of tasks to be solved. There can be fire entry suits (fire-fighting gear) and heat-reflecting gear.
Fire-fighting gear is divided into three classes by the degree of protection against fire, heat and fumes. The structure and appearance of gears for commanding and other rank are different.
Fire-fighting gear of a fireman includes jacket and trousers or semi overall and can include removable cold-proof linings. It is also supplemented with fireman underwear, fire hoods, gloves, special high boots or other heat-proof footwear. Helmets or headpieces are used for protection of a Fireman head.
Heat-reflecting gear (HRG) is a higher level of protection against heat and flame exposure. It is a set of a hood with illuminator, jacket, trousers, boot covers and gloves made of heat-reflecting heat-resistance fabric.
HRG will provide full insulation of all parts of the body from the environment. It is used together with breathing apparatus.
