Fireman gloves and gauntlets
We offer gauntlets, three-fingered gauntlets with gaiters and gloves for completing all types of fire entry suits. Fabric for gauntlet base: half-linen canvas with special impregnations or fire-retardant vynilisleather-Т. Split bovine leather is used for patches on the palm part of gloves which provide protection of hands against mechanical effects (rubbing, cuts, punctures) or half-linen canvas with fire-proof impregnation. Gauntlets with cold-proof lining can be used at lowered temperatures (to minus 40°С).
Gauntlets are made of three standardized sizes:
- 1 — with wrist circumference 25-26 cm;
- 2 — with wrist circumference 26-27 cm;
- 3 — with wrist circumference 27-28 cm;
Fireman balaclava form Т, Ш
Heat-proof balaclava is designed for additional protection of a Fireman head against thermal effects and is used in complete with a Fireman special protection clothes in Russia’s climatic areas with the temperature from minus 40 to plus 40ºС.
Balaclava of type Т can be summer and winter lining. The outer layer: jersey cloth with use of fire-proof meta-aramid fibers Nomex®, the inner layer: cotton jersey cloth. Balaclava type Ш: winter semi-wool lining for low temperatures (to minus 50°С).
Special heat-proof high boots
Protection of feet and legs against heat flows, bruising, punctures and other mechanical damages is the main function of special heat-proof high boots. Moreover, they protect firemen against effect of water and various aggressive media (fuels, oils, acids, alkali, surfactants).
We offer the two most popular types of heat-proof high boots which showed well in fire-fighting work:
- Special heat-proof rubber high boots
The following is provided in the design of the high boots: impact-proof elements, anti-skating sole and puncture-proof inner sole which provides puncture resistance up to 1200 N. Impact-proof elements in the area of the rear part of step, shin and ankle joint can absorb up to 60% of the shock energy. Toe box of the boot withstands the shock energy up to 200 J. - Special heat-proof PVC high boots
They are made by moulding from PVC (polyvinylchloride) plastics with the inner textile lining, reinforced with a metallic toe puff and inner sole, possess anti-skating sole with a heel, stiffener of the front part and ankle joint.
High boots are completed with an inserted heat-insulating stocking from semi-wool baize which are designed for protection against convection heat and low temperature (to minus 40°С).
Quality and certificates
Gloves, high boots and balaclavas for firemen supplied by RUSARSENAL R&M CO meet GOST R 53264-2009 and Technical Regulations on fire safety requirements (123-FA dd. 22.07.2008), passed all stages of designing, launching into production and are duly certified.
