A KPA series fire pipe is intended for withdrawing water with a fire hydrant valve opened/closed.
This fire column is screwed on a fire hydrant so that to make a square coupler engage a hydrant rod square end. Open the hydrant valve turning its square coupler counterclockwise (10-14 turns to open the hydrant valve) for taking water from the mains and for feeding it to the fire column cavity. Shutoff valves on the fire column top are fitted with ГМ-80 heads to which two pressure hoses are to be coupled.

RUSARSENAL KPA series fire columns are designed under the requirements set out in GOST 15150 for using in moderate, cold and tropical climatic zones and they are allowed for operation in category 1 environment conditions (code “УХЛ”). Fire columns have a 24 month warranty life following the date of commissioning. Fire column mean life is 8 years. Error-free running time is 300 cycles.

KPA series fire columns meet the fire safety requirements set out in GOST and Technical Regulation (123-FA dated 22.07.2008); they have passed throughout all design, manufacturing and certification stages in accordance with the applicable procedure and they are available in the market.
