Double-side polymer coated products like a rubber latex line hose may be also used for suppressing fire at accident sites. Armtex fire hoses are made of high-quality waterproof material supplied by manufacturers from Western Europe countries; this material provides similarly smooth surface both inside and outside a hose. Armtex hoses are thermally stable and resistant to abrasion; they retain their salable condition thanks to specific double-side coating. Such hoses may be used for maximum 10 years in the extreme conditions and they are featured with the following usable benefits:
- Aging, UV radiation and ozone exposure resistance;
- High stability and in extreme environment conditions, do not crack ;
- Total abrasive wear resistance;
- Aggressive media and mold resistance;
- Serviceability (no drying or coating with talk powder is required), non-compacted.
Product Range
RUSARSENAL R&M Co supplies Armtex 1.6 MPa DN 50 and DN 65 hoses, moderate climatic category – У1 (MC), marked as follows:
- 50 mm — РПМ(Д)-50-1,6-ИМ-У1 - FHE(EI)-50-1,6-WOR- MC1
- 65 mm — РПМ(Д)-65-1,6-ИМ-У1 - FHE(EI)-65-1,6-WOR- MC1
FHE - fire Hose for fire engines
EI - externally and internally coated by a protective layer
WOR - wear-resistant and oil-resistant
MC1 - moderate climate
On customer demand, hoses may be fitted with hose couplings and hand nozzles РС-50.01 and РС-70.01. Hoses are to be connected to fire couplings and hand nozzles and braced with 1.6 mm galvanized wire that should meet the requirements set out in GOST (interstate standard) 792.
Marking
Subject to GOST (interstate standard) 51049-2008, a hose unit should be properly marked for its identification. Armtex hoses are marked at the distance of maximum 0.5 m from the both ends. The following marking information should be provided:
- Technical regulation compliance mark;
- Manufacturer’s name or trade mark;
- Hose reference designation (РПМ(Д)-50-1,6-ИМ-У1 - FHE(EI)-50-1,6-WOR- MC1);
- Hose length in meters (20+/-1);
- Manufacturing date (month, year);

Quality and Certificates
Manufactured by Rukav JSC Armtex double-side coated hoses meet GOST (interstate standard) R 51049-2008 and fire safety technical regulations (123-FA dated 22.07.2008 and 117-FA dated 10.07.2012); this product had been tested throughout all design and manufacturing stages (Report No. 174/OC-13 dated 01.10.2013 – POZH-AUDIT LLC No. ТРПБ.RU.ПБ34 dated 25.08.2010), as well as duly certified in accordance with the applicable procedure (Test Certificate No. С-25/10-2013 dated 25.10.2013, POZHAUDIT LLC and ТРПБ.RU.ИН24 dated 25.08.2010). Armtex hose manufacturing process satisfies to the requirements set out in Technical Regulation 8193-002-46303527-2004, Rev. 1. Commercial production.
